Privacy and cookies
A plain-English explanation of what this website collects and why.
Who we are. DF Recovery, a vehicle recovery and transport business based in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland, run by David Faulkner. Contact: dfrecovery2024@gmail.com, 083 043 4347.
This website
dfrecovery.com has no forms. It does not collect your details itself. When you call, WhatsApp or email DF, the details you give are used to respond to you and carry out the recovery or transport. WhatsApp's own terms apply to messages sent on WhatsApp.
Requests through WhatsApp
The request buttons open WhatsApp with a suggested message. You choose what to add and send. David receives the message directly and uses the details to discuss and arrange your recovery or transport. This website does not submit a booking or provide a tracking account. WhatsApp processes messages under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and measure which pages lead to calls, WhatsApp messages and recovery requests. Analytics only runs after you press "Accept analytics" on the cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser so we do not ask again. Google's processing is described at policies.google.com/privacy. IP addresses are anonymised. No advertising cookies are used.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data DF holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to processing. Email dfrecovery2024@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
